Extended Access Services
We recognise that while individual GP Practices and practitioners remain one of the most valued parts of the NHS by patients, the increasing complexity and scope of work undertaken in general practice requires ‘primary care at scale’- practices and other community providers working together.
Primary Care Networks (PCNs) have been created nationally. Camden Health Partners’ role is to provide business support to the PCNs including leadership support and development, back office functions, workforce support and development and to deliver wider geographical services.
Work Flow Optimisation Hub (WFO)
Camden Health Partners run the Work Flow Optimisation Hub (WFO) as a not-for-profit service. The WFO Hub supports GPs by processing clinical documents received from secondary care. Our GP Assistants file the documents, code relevant diagnoses and results onto patients’ EMIS records, then send on only the documents that need to be seen/acted on by a GP.
The WFO Hub currently supports four Camden practices (Caversham, Holborn, St Philips and Park End) and is looking to expand. We can offer a full or partial service, plus ad hoc support for practice teams facing staffing challenges.
