The Workflow Optimisation Hub
The Workflow Optimisation Hub, which began operating in 2021, delivers a valuable, highquality service to Camden primary care on a not-for-profit basis. The Hub provides assistance to the GPs at our four core practices by coding and distributing clinical documents on their behalf. Since last July we processed over 105,000 clinical documents on their behalf, saving them approximately 7,000 hours of work (as of July 2024). The Hub was also able to provide a useful stopgap measure during the SBRI Digital Health Checks programme by stepping in to manually code over 150 patient questionnaire results when a technical issue made this necessary.
The Hub currently supports six Camden practices (Caversham, Holborn, Hampstead Group, Keats, Park End and St Philips) and is looking to expand. We can offer a full or partial service, plus ad hoc support for practice teams anticipating staffing challenges.
